"Bush Cat Devouring Dohnuts" by Milly Hine

"Bush Cat Devouring Dohnuts" by Milly Hine
This one didn't even make it for sale in the cat exhibition that I had.  I did display it, alothough it was not for sale, as it had already found a home.   This one could have sold over and over again, it's colours and subject of the food and the bush cat that just moved into our home from up in the hills adjoining our 50acre property.  "Ducci" is a very endearing cat, and at some stage must have been somebody's pet.  He eats cooked veges, with great delight, probably much better than grass & grass hoppers, pineapple, chocolate, coconut cream, baked beans, tempeh, there is a long list......but the favourite is DOHNUTS, matches Tony's(my partner) love of anything "Simpson's".

"The Golden Seed of Faith" by Milly Hine

"The Golden Seed of Faith"  by Milly Hine
This one is symbolic, has many emotional aspects to it, it is a pretty meaningful one to me.  As an artist and a medium, feeling the influence of all types of spirits,  painting this one at the time of a great deal of personal struggle but learing a lesson of Faith in God the Creator of my soul, who has planted this desire inside of me.  I have not known for many years what this emptyness inside has been for.   It is to know love, to know myself as a whole soul, and to know who created that soul.   I have some lovely guides that can be of great assistance if I allow them.   Often emotionally in my heart, I am shown feelings in images.  The Golden Seed of Faith, has been shown to me in a few different ways.  People often get put off when you mention the word GOD, anyway I am not here to bash you over the head with it.

This one the colours just jump off the Canvass!!!!!  There is this beautiful cobalt blue next to the orange that makes your eyes pop!!!!!  Worth a look in the flesh!!!!  I don't think photos do justice to art,  seeing it up close is such a different experience!  Seems more emottional and inviting all of the senses.

I make cards of all of my paintings, it is a great way for everybody to afford art and sometimes people just want a souvenier of what they saw as a reminder.

Nine Lives by Milly Hine

"Nine Lives" by Milly Hine

This one is a "Gianormous" painting, 1m x 1m and requires when I display it to go in the Mazda 3, it just fits!!  It is currently waiting to come back home after it's stay at the Gympie Regional Art Galllery, where it has been on display for a month, with some of the Australian Wildlife Paintings, funny concept, our beautiful native wildlife and things that us humans have introduced that eat it!  I think I was too subtle, next time I think I will see if I can have an editiorial in one of the local rags.  I love my cats too, Milly :)

"Fairy Playing the Cello for Her Cats"

This one is from "My World of Colourful, Magical Cats" Exhibition that I had in November Last year some paintings you do could sell over & over, this one was one of those!  I really had fun painting this one, although part of one evening when I was still painting it, there was a movie on the TV called "Midnight Express" have you seen that one?  I did lots of crying.  Mill :)

"I Can't Quite Fit In My Mum's Pouch" by Milly Hine

I just love this one, my partner suggested that I put an indication of a mothers paw or something, but I just love the design.  This one was another one that could have been sold over again!  Was part of "Menagerie-Doo" Australian Wildlife Exhibition.   Milly :)

Mother Wallaby and Joey In Her Pouch - Acrylic on Canvass ( 40 x 90cm)

Something happened in between the photograpy to computer,  another painting that the photograph doesn't quite  give the subltleness  & softness of the painting.  This one is currently on dispaly at the Local Shop at Widgee.  The People at the shop didn't want any commission or anything for displaying my art, that is so nice, so a donation to the Firebrigade from a percentage of the sale was the  compromise!
